Short sleeves year round.
Jacket in the winter - No jacket in the summer !
The greatest truths are the simplest;
and so are the greatest men. (unk)

Light travels faster than sound,
which is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

The early bird gets the worm,
but the second mouse gets the cheese!

Winter: Jeans. Blue button-up shirt just like the meter readers, sewer workers and city hall janitor.

Spring: See above.

Summer: See above.

Fall: See above.

We only get below freezing for about 10 - 15 days, the rest of the winter its in the 40s and 50s, so a light jacket over a SS shirt is usually all we need.
There are no problems, only challenges and opportunities.

One of our guys suggested shorts for the summer. Just my opinion - I wouldn't want to be wearing shorts on the call when I have to run through the tall grass and weeds.

Anyway - short sleeves in the summer. Options of long sleeve in the winter - but not mandatory. Most just wear their coats anyway.
If only we could do to them what they do to the anmals - there\'d be a lot less Animal Cruelty!

We have many different options here, most go for Polo with our standard pants, badge on belt almost year round. Some of the guys who have been around a bit still rock the button down "class A" uniforms with badge on chest. I wear short sleeve some days and a polo on others. Right now I am wearing my outer carrier which has some equip. on it and my badge on the chest, "animal control" in gold on a front pulldown and a large one on my back. That is the best way to remain cool while still wearing armor in my opinion.
