About a year before I left the industry I had a dealing with the large city south of mine. The call center was remote from the shelter, and didn't communicate very well. There was an injured animal in their city and they were taking all day getting there. I decided to help them out so I picked up the animal and called their call center telling them to cancel the ACO and notify the shelter I was in-route with the dog. When I got to the shelter they had no clue I was coming so they made me wait about 20 minutes. When the finally got to me I had to leave so I told them to get the location where the dog was found from the dispatcher ( which thy didn't or couldn't do) and I left. When I got back to the shelter thy told me that they had not canceled the ACO and they had come to the shelter looking for the dog.
There are no problems, only challenges and opportunities.
