I been registered since 08 but never visited... I just applied to two positions, one with Baltimore City Animal Enforcement and one with Baltimore County Animal Control as an Entry Level ACO.

Best of luck, this career path can be rewarding but can also take an emotional toll on you.

Turn as fast as you can cause once your in you'll never be able to leave. This profession is consuming of your life. Only job in the world where you can actually step up and do something about a animal suffering from cruelty or neglect but man does it take alot out of you. Between the emotional and physical toll, working holidays/weekends and being on call all night you dont live a normal life...if you work in a busy department anyway, we get 2-4 emergencies from 10pm -8am nightly. Just a suggestion lol

Walk, don't run. Just like a wild animal or vicious dog, if you run, it will chase you down and consume you.
